ABOUT US

Public Systems (also known as social welfare systems) are established to provide basic levels of wellbeing to the citizens. These systems include programmes such as food and cash assistance, employment schemes and systems for law & order, public health and transport. Such systems, TPDS and MGNERGA for instance, are implemented using public finances and often directly by national or state governments with support from multi-lateral organizations. Foundation for Innovation & Technology Transfer (FITT) established at India’s premier technology institute, the ‘Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi)’ and United Nations (UN) – World food programme (WFP), propose to jointly establish a Public Systems Lab (PSL).

The funds provided by WFP India, as a part of this multifaceted set up will focus SDG 2 goals with projects involving Operations Research, Product Development, Data-Based Innovations & Analysis
